Review - Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter

Official Description - Buttery balm with beautiful color to give you baby soft, healthy glowing lips. 94% of women felt lips were softer, smoother, and instantly hydrated.
Hey everyone! So I totally gave into the hype and bought the new Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter. Emma Stone looked beyond beautiful on the ad and I wanted to have lips just like hers! When I got to my local Ulta they were sold out of the one that Emma was wearing in the ad which was Peach Parfait. Major bummer. The two that I did manage to snag were Creamsicle and Tutti Frutti.

Creamsicle - I was first drawn to it because it looked like a gorgeous nude that I could wear on a daily basis to work. When I put it on my lips I was a bit surprised on how sheer it actually was. I looked a bit washed out to be honest. Perhaps if I was to pair this with a more darker nude lipstick it would show up more better.

Tutti Frutti - First of all I want to state how sad I was when I first got Tutti Frutti opened I accidentally chipped a huge chunk off with the top. I took a chance because the color looked pretty vibrant from just looking at it. The color was super pretty on my lips. I can totally see myself wearing this out without worrying about doing too much.

Overall - My lips felt so good wearing this! They glided on perfectly and made my lips feel super smooth. I wore them Tutti Frutti for a whole day and it did not wear off. After when I wiped it off my lips felt soft and not chapped at all. I definitely recommend these lip butters. They make your lips feel fabulous and smooth. I can't wait to try more shades!

Review - Two Faced Shadow Insurance

Official Description - Your full coverage insurance policy against all fading, creasing and smudging. Our skin-soothing formula evens out skin tone and smoothes fine lines to create a perfect canvas for shadows. Color is intensified and locked down until you take it off.
I have been using Urban Decays Primer Potion for many years now. I love it so much. I was always interested in giving Two Faced Shadow Insurance a try. I have seen so many youtubers use it and read a lot of positive reviews. When I heard that Ulta was having a sale on it for half off for their 21 Days of Beauty promotion I thought that was a perfect opportunity to give it a try.

I had never used the squeeze tube kind of primer and was used to applying it on with an applicator. It was actually a lot better applying it with my fingers because I got an even application on my lids. I then applied my eyeshadow and liquid eyeliner. I had a full day of work and towards the end of my shift I went to the bathroom to do a check for any crease lines. My eyeshadow still looked fresh and vibrant!

At first I was a bit torn on which eyeshadow primer would become my "go to primer" but in the end I have decided that although Two Faced Shadow Insurance worked lovely for me I will stick with Urban Decay's Primer Potion. What are some of your favorite eyeshadow primers?

Faces of The Day - NYE and Totally 80's look

Hey loves! It's a new year! I love the holidays but I am kind of happy that they are over. All of the over eating was really starting to take a toll! We are looking for a new place. I am beyond excited! Zoe is becoming more adventurous so we need more space.

Here are some looks that I did for a New Years Eve and a Totally 80's Themed birthday party that I went to awhile ago. You are probably wondering why I don't have any full face shots. First, I searched and could not find a decent one for both of the looks. Secondly, the main reason why I probably could not find a decent shot was because I am feeling really sad about my weight. I was eating right and going to the gym about 5 times a week. When the holidays starting coming around and the longer hours at work I just fell off track. I think I lost track on how many times my new years resolution was to lose weight. I am determined to do this. No diets or magical diet pills. It needs to be a lifestyle change. I need to become a better role model for Zoe.

Ok enough with all of the sad stuff. Time to move forward! Here are the looks!
