Shopping Goodies - Philosophy, e.l.f., Sally Hansen, Smashbox and Urban Decay

So excited to try all of these goodies out! I have not tried any of these products but I have been reading awesome reviews on them so I decided to give them a whirl. I have tried the Philosophy Purity One-Step Facial Cleanser but I just ran out had to get another one asap. It is my favorite cleanser and really removes all of my makeup. I have an oily T Zone so I wanted to try out some products that would help control all of the oil. Urban Decay's De Silk Oil-Control Makeup Setting Spray seemed like the best option. I got the travel size first to test drive it. I will post my review once I give it a few days of use. I also wanted to try Smashbox Photo Finish Light Foundation Primer because I have been noticing after a long day of work my foundation around my nose seems to be coming off and it looks terrible.

I also purchased e.l.f.'s Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 because based on all of the positive reviews and the awesome price I said why not? Last, but certainly not least, I got Sally Hansen's Nail Art Pen in black. Oh man I must post my Fails of the Day a.k.a Nails of The Day trying to use my liquid eyeliner as a nail art tool. I am hoping that this nail art pen allows me to create the leopard print nails that I have been wanting to have! Expect full reviews on all of these products once I give them a good try! Target is also having a great deal for all of the Moms out there! Buy two boxes of Pampers and get a $20 Target Gift card. Love it!!

Birchbox - July

I love this months Birchbox! First of all it is in this awesome Cynthia Rowley special edition box and when I opened it up I was super stoked about the awesome products inside!! What did you all get in your July Birchbox?

1. Korres Showergel - A deliciously foamy body wash with aloe to keep skin soft long after you've toweled off and an exotically lush fragrance .
- - My Review - This shower gel left my skin feeling super soft! I did not like the smell when I first smelled it directly from the tube but after applying it on my skin it had a fresh scent to it. I did not like it enough to replace my current shower gel so I gave it to my mom who loves the smell!

2. Philosophy Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser -This perennial award-winner is pH-balanced to gently clear away dirt, oil, and makeup without drying out skin.
- - My Review - I have been using this facial cleanser for a while now and just ran out so I was super delighted to see this awesome mini included in this months birchbox! I wear foundation mostly everyday. I absolutely love this cleanser. It makes my face feel so fresh and clean after I use it! It does not leave my skin dry or flaky at all. It also doesn't have a strong scent either which is great! I feel as though I have been noticing less breakouts since using this product. I don't think my old cleanser was helping me remove all of my makeup before I went to bed. I would recommend this product to all of my friends. Major love!

3. Redken Shine Flash - A must for all Cynthia's runway shows, this weightless spray gives hair a brilliant sheen.
- - My Review - I was not too fond of the smell. Reminded me of copper. It did leave my hair quite shiny but I would not use this product on a daily basis.

4. ybf Beauty Automatic eye brow pencil in universal taupe - A two-in-one brow-tamer: the comb brushes hairs into place, while the creamy pencil fills in sparse areas.
- - My Review - Who doesn't love two-in-one? The brow brush worked perfectly on my brows and the pencil was pretty close in comparison to my current brow pencil. It may be a bit dark for some people. I use MAC Cosmetics Eyebrow pencil in Spiked and this one is a bit darker.

5. Kind Almond & Apricot - Snack right with this wholesome bar - no preservatives or hard-to-pronounce ingredients.
- - My Review - Super yummy. 190 Calories and it is a pretty big bar. Perfect if you are just looking for a quick snack. It filled me up!

Shopping Goodies - MAC, Sephora & The Body Shop

I had an amazing Mothers Day! I spent the entire day shopping with my family. I picked up a lot of goodies that I have been looking at for the longest time. Here is a run down of my latest mini haul:

Ulta -  I got the Pirates of The Caribbean OPI Collection nail polishes. From left to right (Planks A Lot, Sparrow Me The Drama, Mermaids Tears & Silver Shatter) I was surprised how many people were waiting in line to get the silver shatter. I can't wait to use all of the colors!

MAC - I was drawn to Biker Blue nail polish. I have a blue that is similar but it doesn't have any sparkle to it.

Sephora - I finally caved in after reading a lot of good reviews about Tweezerman! I also love that it came in a Betsey Johnson Marilyn Monroe design! It works really good and gets the tiniest of hairs. Love, love, love! A lot of friends were also recommending The Purity One-Step Facial Cleanser from Philosophy so I am going to try that out and let you all know how it works.

The Body Shop - I always go into this store and sample the body butters and I always leave the store empty handed! This time I was determined to finally get some. I fell in love with the Strawberry, Lemon and Coconut scent. These leave my hands feeling so smooth and smelling like yum! They had a 2 for $10 deal so I got a few!
