» Overall Rating - A tad bit deeper than MAC's Ruby Woo. It has a retro matte finish and did not leave my lips feeling dry. Lasted a good 7 hours before signs of fading began to show. This lipstick will be launching again in June with the RiRi Hearts MAC Collection. The collection will be released in multiple installments throughout the year.

Mini Drugstore Lipstick Haul

Hey everyone! I wanted to share with you all today a few swatches of some new lipsticks that I have recently picked up. I picked up some of the new Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids and a Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color.

Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids - I picked these up at ULTA because they were having an awesome sale which was buy one Maybelline product, get one 50% off. I first bought Brazen Berry but fell in love with swatches of all of the other colors that I was finding. These lipsticks definitely have high impact color. I was expecting Brazen Berry to show up a bit more purple on my lips but still loved the final result. The other two that I picked up was Shocking Coral (Left) and Vibrant Mandarin (Right). Both of those color looked true to their color and applied smoothly. If you are looking for a vibrant lip color at a reasonable price I highly suggest that you check out these vivids!

Wet N Wild Megalast Lip Color - I have reviewed these lip colors in the past and instantly fell in love. When I found out that Rite Aid was having a sale which was 40% off different brands which included Wet N Wild, I took that opportunity to stock up! I love dark lip colors so I was immediately drawn to Vamp It Up. It is a deep plum color that makes a statement. I love how it glided across my lips and did not require any layering. The color lasted all day with minor fading towards the end of the night.

MAC Strength & Aprés Chic Swatches

Hey everyone! I wanted to share with you all some pics and swatches of a few things that I picked up from MAC Cosmetics newest collections. I bought two lipsticks from their Strength Collection and one MSF from their Aprés Chic collection. 

I am in love with the two lipsticks that I got from Strength. The lipsticks launched early online so I was able to place an order right when it came up. Strong Woman is described as a bright violet. The second I put this lipstick I fell in love. It is a gorgeous violet color that has me so excited to wear it out. This is one that I am regretting not getting a few backups of. Party Parrot is described as a bright red-pink and it is a strong vibrant color. I was super bummed that I missed this lipstick when it launched with a previous MAC collection. It is definitely a statement lip and has just the right amount of red and pink. 

The Mineralize Skin Finish that I bought from Aprés Chic was Stereo Rose. I love MSF and Stereo Rose was definitely one that I needed for my MSF collection. Stereo Rose is described as coral with golden/bronze shimmering nuances. I love coral blushes but this one is a perfect mix of coral and gold.

Shopping Goodies - MAC By Request

Hello! I had a lovely package waiting for me and my parents house yesterday! My MAC By Request lipsticks have arrived. The whole launch for this collection was pretty intense. MAC released it a bit early so everyone was up late placing their orders. Candy Yum-Yum sold out really fast and I was super happy that I got a chance to get one. I missed out on this lipstick from the Quite Cute collection and let me tell you, this color is so vibrant and gorgeous. I love all of the different lipsticks and they are my favorite matte finish!I can't wait to start using these lipsticks with different looks. What did you all get from the MAC By Request collection?

Shopping Goodies - Lime Crime

Hey loves! I am totally regretting not checking out the Lime Crime booth at IMATS last year. I will definitely make it a priority to check it out this year. I am beyond excited to try out more products from Lime Crime. Such a large variety of colors and the packing alone makes me want to have it a part of my makeup collection!

I bought My Beautiful Rocket lipstick and Candy Apple from the carousel collection. My Beautiful Rocket is an orange lipstick that is perfect for Spring and Summer. It is described as a true, luminous orange with no red undertones. The lipstick smells like vanilla and glide on so smoothly on my lips. I was in heaven. The color has an amazing staying power. I need to make a list of what I need to buy next. Candy Apple is on another level. No matter how many pictures I tried to take I could not capture how gorgeous it looks in person. It is described as a deep ruby-red with crimson glitter. I love to pair it on top of Ruby Woo lipstick for the perfect red lip!

» Overall Rating - I will definitely be purchasing more products from Lime Crime. The lipstick and carousel gloss have amazing lasting power. I was very impressed with my first purchase and can't wait to try out more fun colors!

Nails of The Day - China Glaze Salsa

Hot mess. Ok I know I have chipped nails but this is after a long week of usage and tough mommy duties! Ahh so horrible I know but when I first applied Salsa by China Glaze it was really gorgeous and bold. I wore it to a Baptism I went to and I also paired it with my all time favorite lipstick, Ruby Woo from MAC. I decided not to look so flashy since I was doing a bold lip and nail and decided to pair it with a soft eye and an all black outfit. Of course I have no good shots of the complete outfit because it always get's a little hectic dressing a baby before a party. Zoe looked so adorable! She wore this super cute Burberry dress from Bloomingdales which she later had an accident on but that's what babies do right? She is going to be 6 months at the end of this month! Where has the time gone?
