Review - NARS Audacious Lipstick in Dominique is exclusive to NARS.com & Barney's New York. The pigmentation on this lipstick was simply amazing. Full complete coverage with one swipe. Dominique is a unique color that I can only slightly compare to RiRi Boy from the RiRi Hearts MAC Collection. The lipstick had excellent staying power and needed minor touch ups after eating. Now I know the price is steep and believe me when I say that I was going back and forth on whether to purchase or not. After wearing it out for an entire day and witnessing the staying power and not to mention how beautiful this color is I do feel slightly better about the price. I am trying to fight the urge in splurging on more colors but I don't know how long I can resist collecting all of the NARS Audacious lipsticks.

Face of The Day - Sugarpill Burning Heart Look

Hey loves! Super excited to show you this look that I did using Sugarpill's Burning Heart Palette. I purchased this from the Beautylish Boutique and I was so excited to use it! I posted this look on my Instagram and on Beautylish and received such amazing comments that I decided this look would be featured on my very first tutorial!

I still have a lot of improvements to make on my tutorials but I really wanted to get this tutorial up for you guys so you could see how I did this look. My skin wasn't at it's greatest but that's life right? I also look a bit more tanned for some reason. I am so excited to start filming more tutorials and create more fun looks! Totally Loving - NARS Pure Matte Lipstick

Hey loves! I had to share with you all a new found love that I have. NARS Pure Matte Lipstick in Carthage has recently won my heart over. I have been on the hunt for the perfect matte pink lipstick for the longest time. I first saw this lipstick worn on one of the writers at hellogiggles.com and I knew I just had to have it. You all should know my love for matte lipsticks by now right? This is the perfect shade of pink! I am going to try out all of the different colors that NARS has to offer.

» Overall Rating - This is the perfect pink for me. It is totally build-able so you can control how vibrant you want it to appear. This lipstick has amazing lasting time. I wore it for a long day out and it did not budge. It glides on rather smoothly. The lipstick did dry out my lips after a few hours of wear. It is a bit on the pricier side and if you are looking for less expensive dupes NYX Matte Lipsticks & Wet'N'Wild Mega Last Lip Color definitely come to mind.

Sephora VIB Valentine's Day Gift

Hey dolls! I am mega late on posting about this but I was so happy when I found out that Sephora was having a special Valentine's Day goodie bag for their VIB Customers! The promo was spend $35 and receive a free NARS giftbag filled with awesome NARS Minis. My bag came with their bronzing powder in Laguna, Illuminator in Copacabana, Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Primer and a super cute NARS drawstring bag. This was the best freebie ever.

My cousin was raving about their eyeshadow primer so I was pretty stoked to try it out. I love this primer! I am so sad that I already ran out of product. I used it a good week or 2. My eyeshadow did not crease and I secretly miss the wand applicator from UDPP so I was in heaven! The illuminator was perfect for my skin tone. I can't wait to post pics wearing it on. I have not tried the bronzing powder yet but I am sure that it will be perfect for contouring.

Totally Loving - NARS Danmari All About Cheeks Palette

NARS Danmari All About Cheeks Pallete Limited Edition $65 at Sephora - Based on the exquisite tradition of Kabuki theatre, a classical Japanese dance drama, this palette features six high-pigmented cheek powders that let you play up your features like a true performance artist.

I am so in love with this palette. I was shopping at the Sephora Downtown SF and stumbled across this bad boy. I knew I just had to buy this. I love NARS blushes in general. Orgasm has become a part of my everyday go to blush. First of all it is a really good value at $65! One single blush at 0.16oz costs $27, so 6 blushes at 0.12oz for $65 is a good value. This palette also reminded me of the contour blush palette I use from Coastal Scents. I can use this everyday! There is a gorgeous highlighter blush, Hungry Heart, that when I run out I will definitely be purchasing the single version! Sadly, this beautiful palette was limited edition. I am sure that you can still find it online somewhere or hopefully NARS/Sephora will make this permanent!

Face of The Day - Plum Goddess Inspired

 

For my face of the day today I was inspired by a tutorial that one of my favorite youtube guru created. The Plum Goddess Tutorial by Jazziebabycakes used all of my favorite colors. I absolutely loved the look that Jasmine did so I decided to give it a try. I was really happy with the end result and to be honest it looked a lot more vibrant in person.

Makeup by Shannyn - Jennifer

This past weekend I was super excited to do makeup for one of my closest friend little cousin. Jennifer was turning 15 and was celebrating with all of her family and friends for her Quinceañera. For those of you who aren't familiar a Quinceañera is a celebration of a girl's fifteen birthday. It marks the transition of childhood to young womanhood.

I wanted to make sure Jennifer felt like a Princess! I did not want to go to heavy on the makeup because she is still a young lady. Her theme was Beauty and The Beast and she had this gorgeous dress that was reminiscent of Belle. I did a neutral look but added a hint of gold sparkle to stand out. She was super excited after I finished and we were both extremely happy with the end result!

Face of The Day - Blue Peep Love

Oh Blue Peep, how I have neglected you! I use to wear this fluidline all of the time. I was definitely inspired by my earrings to whip out this amazing color. I wanted the fluidline to stand out so I kept everything else quite neutral. I got a lot of sweet comments about this look at work and can not wait to wear it again!
